I invoice for the time I spend evaluating each assignment based on the available facts, a site visit and discovery information: with the aim of providing precise and thoughtful analysis or consultation.
I review crash reports, photographs and narratives to verify that my services will assist you. If my education, experience and interest match those that you seek, then I submit a proposed Expert Retaining Agreement establishing the conditions and expectations upon which my retention is based. I find it very helpful to execute a written agreement so that all understand the extent of my involvement.
My hourly reimbursement rate is set for the duration of each assignment. Compensation is commensurate with my education, experience and knowledge for the areas I am competent to provide testimony. I participate in a national expert fee survey published by SEAK, Inc. My hourly rate based upon what other experts in similar fields of expertise are currently charging their clients.
